Synopsis

The conference INPROFORUM is a traditional event held by the Faculty of Economics, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice since 2007. It has provided a long-term platform for academics, students, and practitioners from the field of economics, business, and administration to share their knowledge, experience, thoughts, and opinions concerning topical issues. The subtitle of the 16th annual international conference INPROFORUM 2022 was “Digitalization – Society and Markets, Business and Public Administration”. As the process of digitalization and its need are omnipresent, this topic provided ample scope for discussions from many points of view. Robert Jeyakumar Nathan (Multimedia University, Melaka, Malaysia), Martin Volek (Volis International), Luděk Kühr (DIH Tourism 4.0), and Martin Pech (University of South Bohemia) opened the conference as keynote speakers. They contributed to the discussion on digitalization in education, the secondary sector, and tourism and on the increasing availability of data, its role, and the increasing need for data in the ongoing transformation. Our participants submitted 41 talks that they proposed to the seven discussion forums.
